EMT-B classes are for you! The Emergency Medical Technician program at Premier Health & Safety Academy is accredited nationally and by the state of Ohio, so you always receive instruction from proven health experts.
This EMT basic course gives prospective health workers the tools they need to be effective life-saving professionals. In fact, upon successful completion of the course, many students go on to complete their certification. After completing the course, students can become eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians examination. These certification exams are a requirement of EMT state certification.
EMT Applicant Requirements:
- 18 years of age by the time of course completion
- Valid driver’s license
- Criminal background check: Zero past convictions
- Respectable moral character and motivation to serve
- Satisfy ORC 4765-8-01 requirements
- High School Diploma or GED

American Heart Association CPR Certification Course

American Heart Association BLS Certification Course
PHS’s BLS training course is a basic life support class. This course focuses on teaching single-rescuer and basic life support skills in both pre-hospital and in-facility medical emergencies. The PALS course is similar to other basic life support courses; however, it focuses directly on pediatric emergency care.
